BO's Bagels
BO's Bagels has no convenient way to order bagels from their restaurant. The BO’s Bagels app will allow users to place orders for pick up or delivery, which benefits users who do not have the time to go to the physical location and allow them to skip the line if they select the pick up option.

I read articles online to get a better understanding of the market. The articles contained qualitative and quantitative research. In my opinion, as a user of restaurant applications, a company that has a great website as well as an app is seen as more legit and attracts more customers.
I created two personas, a problem statement, user journey map, and pain points to understand my product and decide how I wanted to design the app.

Paper wireframes of the home screen were created first. Then I used this to create my digital wireframes and low-fidelity prototype. Afterwards I asked family and friends to do my usability study so I could get feedback and make necessary adjustments to my design.

I created my mockups and my high-fidelity prototype. I considered accessibility throughout my design. I achieved this by considering the font, wording, and colors as well as including the use of icons.

Being my online first project, I learned a lot throughout the process. I gained the knowledge of how to empathize and connect with people. This helped me to get a better understanding of what the problem was and the goals for the app. I enhanced my knowledge on how to conduct research and studies that made me reflect and make changes to the design. I expanded my knowledge on how to create wireframes and prototypes to bring my design to life.
